We strive to provide the best experience possible for all of our guests. Coppermine Comfort luxury cottage provides a spa-like space to retreat from everyday life as well as comfortable access to all of the lake life activities that we have come to love and enjoy in the greater Lac du Bonnet area. When you book our cottage, you get access to all of the luxuries that come with it, including high speed internet, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, updated kitchen, plenty of area for dining, lots of room for sleeping, hot tub, infrared sauna, as well as access to the private boat launch and our personal dock slip for all your summer boating needs. The Cape Coppermine community is an upscale community with one of the best private beaches in the entire area. There is also golf on the door steps, plenty of birds to watch and nature to soak in. The great room features a beautiful BIS wood burning fireplace for cozy, quiet nights. The floor to ceiling windows provide beautiful views of the surrounding nature both day and night. Enjoy the comfort of two leather reclining sofas and a recliner chair as you watch the fire or the wall mounted flat-screen television. Newly added for those with a musical passion is a vintage upright piano, perfect for that family sing-along or romantic solo. Two patio doors open for easy access to the main deck area.
GREAT ROOM
The open concept kitchen and dining area features butcher block counter tops throughout and extra seating for three at the large kitchen island. There are up to date appliances including a large stainless-steel refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and range hood, Keurig, coffee maker and a stove/oven. Dishes and utensils are provided and stored in the ample cupboard space. Enjoy large family meals or private romantic dinners in the adjoining dining area.
KITCHEN / DINING
Coppermine Comfort stands out because of its luxurious spa features. The in-cabin spa area boasts an infrared sauna complete with therapeutic LED lighting and Bluetooth capability for guests to enjoy their favourite music as they relax and unwind. The peaceful atmosphere is completed with a cozy hammock and a gorgeous water feature. Patio doors open to a five-person hot tub on the main deck. Cup holders, in-tub LED lighting, and easy jet and temperature control make the hot tub a feature you do not want to miss. No stay would be complete without enjoying these amazing extras.
SAUNA & HOT TUB
Follow the lit, winding staircase to a sitting and gaming area that includes board games, books, and cards. Our loft area is welcoming and fun for every guest! Take part in a rousing game of foosball or enjoy a movie night around the television. The cozy grey couch pulls out into a bed for extra sleeping. Two twin beds with top-end mattresses finish the space and can easily be paired together to make one large bed. The balcony overlooking the back firepit is accessed through large patio doors that also provide beautiful natural light to the space.
LOFT
Comfort and calm await in this spacious master suite! A queen size bed with bedside lighting makes for a peaceful adult retreat. Private patio doors open to the main deck area and are equipped with black-out curtains for privacy and that extra bit of relaxation. The ensuite includes a large bath/shower with dimmable shower lighting, lovely vanity with mirror, and a walk-in closet area.
MASTER SUITE & ENSUITE
A queen size bed with extra pillows and wall-to-wall carpeting makes for a warm and inviting space for our guests. This bedroom features a window seating area perfect to snuggle up with a book. Black-out curtains can be used to ensure guests get their very best night’s sleep.
BEDROOM # 2
Two twin beds designed to push together make this room a versatile option for sleeping! Pair these top-end mattresses together for that extra room (ideal for a couple or for someone that wants to stretch it out), or leave them apart for two great beds on their own. The cozy window sitting area can be used for seating or as extra space as well.
BEDROOM # 3
The main bathroom includes ample towels and necessities to make your stay pleasurable. The large bath/shower features dimmable lighting and the vanity area is custom built out of gorgeous knotty pine to match the décor of the cottage.
MAIN BATHROOM
Front loading washer and dryer are available in the entrance area in case of the occasional mishap. The entrance also includes a large closet for storage. For your convenience, a barbeque with propane tank is located on the back deck just outside the dining area patio doors.
EXTRA AMENITIES
The outdoor fire pit makes for fun family nights or romantic evenings watching the stars. Please inquire about firewood availability.
Complimentary snowshoes, one adult and one youth pair, are stored in the entrance area for you to enjoy the outdoors during the winter months.
We encourage guests to research and explore the many outdoor experiences offered in the Cape Coppermine and Lac du Bonnet area. Snowmobiling, fishing, ice fishing, hiking, boating, swimming, kayaking and canoeing are all popular past times!
OUTDOOR ENJOYMENT
Your booking comes with access to the owner’s private dock slip and the Cape Coppermine community boat launch. You are welcome to dock your boat for the duration of your stay or take it in an out of the water as you please. The dock slip comes equipped with basic boat bumpers and guests must review and agree to the Cape Coppermine Dock Association rules and regulations prior to use. Please inquire for details about these amenities.
BOAT LAUNCH & DOCK SLIP
A private community beach just minutes away in the Cape Coppermine area is available to our guests for the duration of their stay. The location is a short 10-minute walk away. For guests that prefer a more convenient method of transportation to the beach area, an electric four-seater E-Z-GO golf cart can be made available upon request for an additional deposit and spall fee. (June - September) The cart is ideal for getting your little ones and beach toys quickly to the beach, or for those guests that want to take it easy and relax!
